This cardamon bun, nutty paste and gooey cream is a heavenly combination, especially when you get it all in one bite. Swedes eat 40 million Semla buns a year, with 5 million of those sold on Semla Bun Day alone. It is the second most popular pastry after the classic Prinsess cake.
