The Modern Saffron Bun is filled with roasted almond paste and has a hint of orange zest, raisins and sprinkle of pearl sugar and almond flakes. Saffron buns are traditionally eaten during all of December, specifically on Sunday's for Advent, Lucia and of course for Christmas.
